EB Account Selling Restriction
 

I am a new member to the forum. I was suspended from eBay February 2014. I called eBay was told I was suspended for taking transactions off eBay like requested buyers to go through PayPal invoices to avoid eBay fees. I am still able to use my EB account for purchases and my PP account is in good standing for selling/purchasing.

My question is, I am about to move into a new apartment with the wife. Can I make a new EB account under her name to get back to selling on EB? Can I still use my current PP account? What are some things I have to look for to avoid getting banned again?

Do not use relatives or friends details, ever. And do not try to attach old paypals to new eBays. You need EVERYTHING to be new and fresh and unlinked.

You should get the stealth guide and learn the basics of doing things the stealth way.
There are several things you mentioned that can get you linked. Learn how to avoid them.

Thanks for the replies but no one answered my question. Can I create an EB and PP account for my wife and use that to sell? Can I create a new EB and PP if I move to a new location? I did enter my social in my current PP account which I still use to sell and purchase.

No, you cannot use your old PayPal with your New eBay account. eBay OWNS PayPal. Attaching a new eBay to an old PayPal will get you linked.

Yes, you can use your wifes name with a NEW address, however, all new details are recommended.

NEVER use any old information when making new accounts. always use new information.

Sigh - you don't need to use wife or other family info! Stealth allows for avoiding using other ppl's info.

Of course he can use his wife's account. He's asking if his wife can create an eBay account and a Paypal account and him sell things on her account

Thanks guys, looks like I got my answer. I am currently selling stuff through my friend's ebay and paypal. He does all the listings and it is my inventory. All funds go to his account and he transfers it to his bank account and wires it to mine. That is safe, correct? I also do not want him to get hit with a 1099, so as long as we stay under 200 transactions AND $20,00 in sales, we shoud be good, right?

Also, can I add one of my bank accounts linked to my current PP to her newly created PP? Can I ever log into my current PP at my new address while also using her new EB and PP at the same time?

That is a bummer. I have PayPal Credit and a long history with some clients using my current PayPal account. Is there anyway I can operate my current PayPal account and create a new PayPal and Ebay Account (which will have all new details) under my wife's name when we move?

Yes, you can continue using the PayPal account until Kingdom Come (or until it gets limited) if you so desire, but you must have ALL NEW DETAILS INCLUDING IP ADDRESS AND PHYSICAL ADDRESS.

What everyone is trying to say is it's FAR more trouble than it's worth. Besides, PayPal "history" is largely irrelevant---I can make a PayPal account in 5 minutes. eBay accounts are the difficult thing to build up.

Appreciate the responses. I will most definitely create all new accounts using new information. Like I said, I am moving by the end of the year so that means new address and new IP. However, I am currently living with my parents and my PayPal is registered here. Say I want to know by anything through my current paypal, can I just log on to my paypal through my phone or a computer at their place and not put the newly created EB and PP at our new location in jeopardy?

Your current paypal can not go near another ebay account.

Your future, and, new stealth accounts should be made with new info.

As for doing business with a friend, be aware of pitfalls.

Be prudent with choices.

Hi,
Using the same name and PayPal will form a relatively strong link between the accounts.
Selling the same items will make it a whole lot worse and they could ban your account again for sure.
Try to create a different PayPal account and it wouldn't kill to use a different name.
Also try not to take transactions out of eBay again.

Only new and fresh details. Never use something from your family or friends. Full stealth- that's the best way.
