Savings or checking account?
 

Thanks to a family member I now have a US bank account, he opened in his name and gave to me.

This is a wells fargo account and they gave him both checking and savings.
The question is whether paypal accepts savings account too?
If so, Can I use the savings a/c under one stealth and the checking under another?

PayPal accepts both but use the Checking Account.

paypal accepts both but to be on the safe side use the checking account first and if you're up for it make another stealth account later and add the saving one.

Checking account looks better if there is a lot of money running thro' your business.

Brick and mortar companies rarely use savings accounts to operate

As long as the account numbers do not match you are fine

First, inadvisable to use friends and family info, for several reasons:

1. Bank accounts do NOT share your name with eBay/PayPal/Amazon.

2. Any rifts in a relationship with your friend will cause issues for your business.

3. Problems that arise with your account may prevent them from getting an eBay/PayPal account later on.

That said, checking is ALWAYS recommended. There have been several reports from members that certain savings accounts cause instant suspension of Amazon accounts. Many members report issues with Bank Of America savings accounts, in particular. Different marketplace, but I'd still avoid the risk.
