what MC081 means?

MC081 CIT NOTICE: eBay Registration Suspension - Breach of User Agreement- linXXXXktrooper

Dear linXXXXktrooper (XXXooper@XXX.com),

We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended indefinitely due to concerns we have for the safety of the eBay community.

Why have we suspended your account?

From experience we know that certain items and actions are more closely associated with fraudulent activity on eBay than others. Under the eBay User Agreement we may suspend an account if we believe that the user may cause eBay or another eBay user financial loss or legal liabilities. You can read the User Agreement by copying this link into a new browser window:

Your User Agreement

You are prohibited from using eBay in any way, including registering new accounts. We have ended any open listings that you may have had.

Please be advised that this suspension does not relieve you of your obligation to pay any fees that you may owe to eBay.

Thank you for your cooperation in this important matter.

Regards,

eBay Trust & Safety

any one meet this before?

yaw1800 12-11-2008 10:38 PM

were you selling VERo items or offereing alternative payment methods?

it could be someone reported you

I hate that dreaded message, simply because it is WAY too unclear.

Another reason why people hate eBay. Move on with another account, and if you can, try to figure out how this happened.

If you were flagged by a competitor, get them kicked off.

Sounds like to lovely "Abusing eBay" letter we love to hate.
Another "catch all" letter.

Can't you fight back that "Abusing Ebay" suspension??

LOL.... Let me know how that works out for you.
Do it the easy way.... OPEN a new account and continue with life

Unless the OP can define the reason for this, quicker for his health to move on
to another account.Would think that there is more info we would need to be told.A lot of variables with accounts makes it hard to recommend solutions.

yaw1800 12-12-2008 12:12 AM

it was just a question, i've never experienced this before but thought you could fight it back lol

If you have enough info, you could fight back. However 'enough info' is a broad
definition. One question would be is it worthwhile to fight back?:p

There are at least MC081 notices. MC081 CIT & MC081 FPA. As I said earlier
need a bit more info.
