Will eBay link me if I use the same title as I did on my suspended account?
 

We've all had this email:

Your item(s) have been ended early due to issues with your account relating to breaches of our seller performance policy: All fees associated with these listings have been credited to your account.


Anyways, I spent a lot of time and research using the right keywords to build the title of my listings. Can I reuse that same title, considering that I got banned 3-4 years ago?

...eBay doesn't forget your listing title even after 10 years...

You'd better change something in there... mix words or use capital letters...
Change pictures too and template... everything have to look different.
Do not take the risk.

Just to add to ilcarletto's comment....Ebay/Amazon/PayPal, etc have kept a record of every transaction, ban, ebay ID, everything that has happened on their sites from the day they were started...EVERYTHING!

you should mix up listing titles even when you relist same items on same account

It seems to me that you have problem with the titles, not with your account linking. eBay has policy against keywords spamming:

If eBay were trying to link your current account with the banned account, it would quietly monitor your listings to gather evidence before banning it, not giving you such warning to alert you.

Nah dude so what you're telling me is anyone with the same title as you will get banned because they think it is you.... NO. Come on use logic.

It would only be a problem if there were also other linking factors, such as same IP, sending money to the same paypal, shill bidding, etc..

But the same items as long as everything is followed will not link u alone

You should contact eBay and ask them what the problem is. It may not just the title. Don't re-list the same items until you know exactly what the problem is.

I use the same title on all my stealths, so no.

Well, I used the same name and address for 3 different ebay accounts. Two of them got suspended due to Below Standard, but one of the accounts is still active, so I am gonna say no. I don't think they link you.

i sometimes copy other peoples titles that are active accounts word for word. so no its not just the title. it can be a variety of factors. I usually make my pictures look relatively unique and do color enhancements and cropping to not make it look similar to my previous accounts or my other stealth accounts
