Default ebay DOES track you by your computer
They do track by your computer and they say so right in the privacy policy. I assume its done through the hardware Security Identification Number. The most popular program to change it is called newSid, does anyone have experience doing it?

Uhh.. they do it by IP Address, Cookies and flash objects..
