Question 1:
About 1 yr ago I had an ebay account in my personal name that got linked to a bad account in a friends name. So I requested my account be closed permanently because for some reason at the time I figured it would be safer to shut it down and start a new account in my name after it was closed, rather than let them freeze the original account.
Is there a way to check if the old account still exists even if you cant even remember the user name? (I do remember the email address I used.)
Question 2: If it does still exist, will they link that old account to this new account in anyway even if nothing is the same but the name? And I had a paypal account that was in my name as well. If that still exists will they link the new paypal account to that one? (I can't remember if I gave them my Social the first time.)
Question 3:
If I wanted to go out and buy a gift card right now that would work as a cc to verify on ebay which would you recommend(when's the last time you used it?) ?

Just go to the Ebay home page, and at the top click the community link.

Input the email address and that will give you the user name.

are you still living at the same address as the old account?
Also, any old cell phone numbers or card numbers etc?? Did you ever give them any personal info (ss#) ?? There's a lot to this
