ok so i bought ebay stelth used new email new phone adresse and buisness paypal ( although my paypal is not banned)

Got new ip with vpn

ebay have just messaged me saying ebay account restricted

account has been associated with it.

I don't know this account at all.

What should i put/say?

My old account was banned from selling due to no fault of my own it has outstanding fees aswell unpaid but i was told even if paid they would not re instate account. its still aloud to buy? any ideas how to get this back

Is the account they have linked you to one of your own?

If so you have messed up by linking yourself.


If you don't know the account, then choose that option.

Well yes but it was in a different name, could i not say a family member used my card and details without my knowlodge

or the fact they havent compltley banned me just from selling if i paid the fees is there any chance they would re- insatte the account?

Have you bought the stealth guide?

If not a would bet you are linked by more than just a card.

Many members have paid outstanding balances with promise of account reinstatement. On many occassions this has not happened. So its up to you what you do. I would expect the worst.

yh i did different ip was used

so do you think it might work if try and make a story up? that someone else used my details in the past

You can tell eBay that someone used your information in the past, but that probably won't help, especially if it is someone that you know. Why? Because eBay figures that it could either be an excuse or that it could happen again. And if the first account was operating for any amount of time on an IP that they could confirm in some way, or that was close to you, you will have a hard time saying that some unknown third party hacked your account.

If you pay any outstanding fees, eBay will tell you that you can have your account back, but that is not true. You will probably be able to BUY again, but not sell - and that is a best case scenario.
