new account NO 21 days hold!!! is that normal?
 

I made a new US EB and PP account, sold my first item $175
I got a clear payment without any 21 days HOLD?
is that just luck?

21 day holds can be implemented at any time, just because one payment hasn't been held the next might.

2nd payment came in $196.76 ebay item high risk, NO hold!!

Just lucky. I don't see paypal getting rid of the 21 day hold for most accounts.

on my new account, the first and the 2nd sale didn't get hold. but from the 3rd, the hold came back.

It happens periodically where funds will come through , sometimes on multiple accounts, but it usually is a small window and closes quick

the only 2 things i changed, it is real mobile number ( I verified it too ) and I used prepaid plastic card, not a virtual card...
maybe that is the reason?

Using a real phone and prepaid plastic card is not enough to get paypal to lift the 21 day hold.

If it were that easy, most stealth accounts would have no holds.

Lot of factors fit into the "hold" including source of payment, type of item, longetivity of account, etc.

Just happened to me. 1st & 2nd sale for over $100 NO hold. After that hold back on.

Did you take any special precautions when creating account? Did you use fresh proxy etc?

Ive wondered lately with all these people getting no 21 day hold off ebay with new accounts and higher starting limits on new ebay accounts if I'm missing something while setting my accounts up.

I have never got an ebay account over 10/1000

The only thing i can think of is i don't verify the phone number through paypal because the numbers i use cant seem to get text messages from paypal for some reason. Also I don't verify the cc put on file, for this i dont even ever remember paypal asking me to or seen where you would do this.

Any ideas?

Hold will come when you'll sell more. There may be no hold for the first couple of sales, but it will come, and is not avoidable.

yeah i had this happen with 2-3 sales but then it goes back to the 21 day old.

He probably used a real person with a real address who has good credit.

Happened with me. I got a 5,000 25,000 account with no holds. It worked for awhile but I Fed up and linked it accidently. I still hate myself for that
