What a bunch of hypocrites!!!

Last week I got my second of two acounts suspended.
I did nothing wrong other than they associated my "live" account with the one they killed a year ago...I think I inadvertantly signed into PP with the email addy from the banned account so they received payment from the banned email addy.
The reason that they banned the account last year was for their intellectual properties rules (of course they never tell you how you violated and won't due to "security concerns" what a laugh...they don't want to give you the heads up on how to get around it.
Since I was selling an item that is easily ⊗⊗⊗⊗d I wasn't sure if they automatically thought it was ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or being my first time listing on ebay I didn't know it was a no-no to use someone else's description or photo to list my item...heck I watched dozens of these items for a week or two to determine the best approach for listing mine and getting top dollar. I saw numerous listings that were identical to each other in both description and photo. So, I didn't think there was anything wrong with what I was doing, heck they have templates already made for selling DVDs, CDs, books etc...I accept the fact that I f'd up...my bad.
Well, I got my third strike and I don't know if it was from a trademark holder who was on a witchhunt or another seller whose listing I lifted, but anyway, I got suspended.
Fast forward a year and 100% feedback from 100 users (all legit I must add) and I get my second account killed last week. The last item I sold, I sell 2 or 3 each month so unlike a one-time thing I don't want anyone using my well thought out description or high quality photo.
Two days after me getting suspended I see someone else selling the same item using my photo and my written copy word-for-word!!!
I was surprised, but even though my account was suspended I was able to report the item for using my photo and description and ebay did nothing!!! Didn't even respond to my email. What a bunch of hypocrites!!! They boot me off for doing something and then allow someone to turn around and do it to me.

Like time I checked murdering a guy who is in prison for murder is still against the law:D

With Ebay the seller with the fattest pockets and who is making Ebay pockets even bigger wins. its all political with Ebay, just have to accept the fact..

I've learned the best result comes not from alerting ebay but by giving the seller a dose of their own medicine. There are multiple ways of doing this, some already mentioned on this forum. As with most things in life, you can't count on others to do your dirty work for you. You have to be proactive and handle it yourself.

I remember a month ago a seller used my watermarked image with my ebay user name still on it. I was like what a ******* dummy. I emailed him and asked whats up? Why is he using my watermarked pic. he staes he was sorry and his friend gave it to him for he can sell his item...I alerted ebay and they suspended his account within 24 hours. he was a newbie seller with 0 feedback.

but he emailed me back a day later and gave me some naughty word

I wasn't so irate about him using it, just that ebay booted me for doing it and ignored my alerting them to the fact.
Kind of like all of the meters on the block being expired and the cop only giving a ticket to me.

Halleileujah!!!
I received an email from ebay this morning saying they have taken appropriate action...yea, 36 hours after the auction closed. The seller has probably already received payment for it, so it didn't hurt him that way, but at least it gets him one step closer to being suspended and becoming a new member here :)

How can you do this?

I would think if you use theirs, it'll get your listing removed and one step closer to another suspension.

Congrats DogFacedBoy! Ebay will occasionally do their job, and that's always a nice perk. I'm still waiting for a negative to be removed, given under fraudulent grounds, and it probably never will. That's ok, I've got this persons number. It's just a matter of picking my spot. MwaHaHa. Ahem. ;)

If you don't mind getting your hands dirty a little, I would suggest the thread started by FeeBay Balling - Here to Share Some Stuff. There's lots of ways of doing it. Just get a little creative. :)

I'll check it out.
Still brand new here so I am trying to soak up as much as I can.
