Way to know if EB has linked a PP Account?
 

So prior to joining the forum/reading the guide/buying an account I had tried like many of us to make a second account.

My question is, is there anyway to know if a PayPal account was linked or not?
The EB account went down but the PayPal was unaffected.

This was on the first item I was attempting to list and no transactions between the now locked EB account and the still up PP account transpired.


The main reason I'm asking is I have a high limit account up and running and fear the 20k annual PayPal limit/SSN inquiry. My aforementioned account is under my Wife's maiden name (and new address) and would allow both a PayPal debit card & a higher than 20k annual limit.


So anyone know an easy way to tell without loosing a pricey built up account?

I would never link a PayPal account to a high value real account that had ever touched eBay before. It is too dangerous. I would use that as a spare PayPal account, for a website or to receive off-eBay payments or something. Because linking it could cause all sorts of issues.

My recommendation is to get an EIN for the account that is about to hit the limits. You can get it free at the IRS website and add that when they ask.

Agree with Jeff 100%. Use an ein if at all possible. They are very easy to get.
