Ebay 7 day suspension question
 

Well i was suspended on ebay today for breaching there listing rules heres what i done.

I tried selling a louis vuitton handbag which was genuine and had the receipt etc. but it didnt sell then i tried selling the item again but couldnt because i had some restriction so i renamed the item to something like ladies designer handbag and then after a few hours i got suspened :( which i find kind of unfair because my item didnt sell and would like to try sell it again since i did pay for crappy listing fees etc.

but i got a email and it said am suspened for 7days and i rang then up as well.

Am just wondering do i need to do anything because i read in some places that you may need to fill out some form and send it to them?? or will my account most likely open in 7 days because when i rang them up they didnt say anything about sending some form. any helps would be great thanks

Don't do anything for the seven days... after that email eBay about reinstatement.

Most of the time you'll have to fax in details about your account before they consider reinstatement. About one out of two accounts are reinstated.

Thanks hopefully i wont have to do anything just wait the 7 days if not ill give them a ring.

I got suspended in August / 2007 for 7 Days .. i faxed the paperwork in on the 7th day and 7 days later i was back up ..I think there is always hope for a 7 day suspension as they could of just suspended you for good ... When i talked to my rep back than they said it is done by automated point system .. I am sure some on here will have better info for their new rules .. good luck

I've not heard of the need to email them first. In my experience, there's a form to fax and eBay won't tell you it early, but google is your friend who can find it.
