No longer permitted to sell but appeal allowed.
 

I had an ebay account in good standing with 100% positive feedback and high DSRs. Long story short I tried dropshipping which started great but ended with me cancelling about 8 orders and getting suspended from selling due to a 22% defect rate. Ideally I don't want the hassle of creating a stealth account.

ebay CS told me I can appeal. Is it worth trying this or will they just say computer says no!

Got to be honest and say that stealth is the way to go

Dropshipping did for me and a few more on here.

Next week is the 1st anniversary of my dropshipping downfall.

Still gives me the sweats thinking about it even now.

Yes, appeal. Explain the reason and tell them how you plan to avoid it in the future (best plan is to stop using dropshipping). Write a professional message. I believe you have a good chance to be reinstated. I strongly suggest you stop using dropshipping. It's not a good business model for eBay or Amazon.

While waiting for the appeal, create a stealth account. Even if you may not need to use it now, it's a good idea to have a stealth account aged and ready to use at anytime.

Dropshipping requires VERY solid suppliers. Otherwise it will end up not so good. So generally it is not recommended business model.
