Hi x2ruff4u,

Abusing eBay can me anything, eBay uses it as vague excuse to suspend you. You've been automatically suspended for your actions, what ever they were. When I buy cheap e-Books to boost my feedback, mine are usually $1-$2 items, and I have no trouble with eBay. I'm guessing it's because you are a brand new user buying cheap one cent auctions, this is a red flag and it seemed you were auto banned. This is a new thing with eBay. They're trying to crack down on users who they suspended but are trying to come back. Only recently has eBay changed a lot of rules and added more auction filters. Tons more.

Do the same thing but buy the $1-$2 e-Books and you should be okay.

Alright aspkin im gona do that! Gona buy a 2 dollar one, and then a one dollar one. Like this process.

2$ next 1$ next 1$ next 2$ next 1$ next 1$ next 2$

But how many should I buy to begin selling and how many per day I should buy? Thanks in advance. I dont wanna screw up this time...

I wouldn't buy more then 4-5 a day and if you're trying to build feedback. Ten is usually a good amount because of listing restrictions, but if you are just buying so that eBay won't think you're a bad user, you may not need to buy any items at all. It's really up to you. Just because you have a little feedback, 1-10, it won't influence eBay's decision about your account if they wanted to suspend you. It's all on your actions. But if you're doing it for the feedback then it's okay.

Yes but it is pure chance in my opinion i had 3 accounts before the 1st one got banned and linked the 2 others

When i started the other 2 cuz my first one had less than 100% i bought like 50 a day and i was ok and all this was abt a month ago so not sure if they changed the rules.

Further more if you want 50 feedback and dont wanna waste $50 + dont have the patience then just keep opening accounts and buy like 20 a day until you dont get banned for it.

If the system has changed to machine detection or filter and not through human eyes or someone reporting you then it can't be helped anyone thats selling/buying 1cent ebooks will get bant >.<

Yeah eBay has changed a lot of rules recently, and added a lot of filters on what suspicious people might do (abusing eBay?), and they suspended for that. You have to act like a user who is new to eBay. What would they do?

Also how long does it take for a simon gift card to get to you through email, thought ill buy one this time since the last time there was an error.

First part yes that sounds like a good idea. I forget why you were suspended in the first place. Is it because of the items you are selling? Or something else?

Second, Simon virtual gift accounts require a verified by Visa credit card for it to go through successfully. It's the one where you have to enter a password for your credit card to be accepted. They usually take half a day to reach your email. I love them!

Ehh that's a hard one. If you were already logged in, I don't think so. I believe it's only when you login is when they record your IP. Then again, if you accessed any of your account information. My eBay... they might try to grab your Ip address again. If you didn't and you just visited the site and closed the page.. you might be okay.. if not you two accounts may be linked now. That's what I hate about having two accounts at once.. It's some what a pain trying to manage both at the same time. But you may be okay.

So has anyone figured out the secret to all this? Starting with a new account should you buy cheap items to get over 10 feedback and then wait about 2 weeks before listing items or is there any information as to what the flags are and when you are under the radar for the flags?

Thanks guys

Tpayton, there are tons of information out there about what you should and shouldn't do and how to do it, but that's usually just hearsay. Stick around these forums, were only about a week old and growing. I'm sure we'll be able to answer your questions soon enough.

For one try buing small items worth $1-$2 to gain back feedback, any less and this a red flag for eBay if you have a new account.

OK Thanks again.

I just really want to know that continuing to fight through this is worth it. I don't want to be in a position where I'm not able to get on EBay and STAY. They've said they're going to free my account this summer after a one year suspension for multiple Shill Bidding violations...It was shut down for shill bidding and now all of my new accounts keep getting linked to the old account.

Has anyone created an account and STAYED on for more than a couple months using a "⊗⊗⊗⊗" account???

Take care

Default Documents?

Please do share the documents?

I had one account that lasted about 3 weeks. I sold $75k on it and then bang - got "limited" for being linked to an old account.

I don't see how they will unlimit this account since it's linked to this other account and has a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, address, etc.

Please do share?

Has anyone successfully gotten an ID unrestricted from selling "potentially vero items" I have an account in this situation and they can be appealed but I have no idea what to say to get them back to an unrestricted catagory.

HI- I have done this via using the Letter of Content, to Appeal to the Vero Owner, having them either PROOVE my item was ⊗⊗⊗⊗, or get a COurt Order.
Once this is filed (they dont share this often ..my Acct Mgr showed me)--
-but once its faxed to Ebay, they will reinstate the item/auction, AND-notate your acct to NOT take that item down again..
