Anyone try complaining to the BBB when suspended?
 

That's the Better Business Bureau for those who don't know.

I realize eBay is an award winner from them, but every company I've complained about so far to the BBB has caved a little.

I was suspended recently and in addition to filing reinstatement papers have also complained. I wonder how things will turn out. Any experiences out there?

Usually you'll get a response back like eBay looked into it blah blah, but they're sticking to their decision.

The Better Business bureau has no teeth. Not just for eBay, but anything. They are mainly a repository for complaints. They are simply a good resource for investigating someone who you might want to do business..

Well, I wouldn't say they have no teeth. I've gotten vouchers from airlines, free tours from tour companies, $98 in overdrawn cash from my bank and $157 in cellphone bill credit by complaining to the BBB. Usually, it seems like the BBB wants an organization to bend a little to meet the customer's needs.

However, maybe it's different with eBay.
