Quick eBay App question, possibly obvious answer but need help..
 

Okay, yes I'm still a newbie on here but trust me I've read this site daily ever since I've been on here and know the downsides and dangers of using the eBay / Paypal Apps on your phone. BUT, if I change my phone number and get a new phone that has never been logged onto eBay or Paypal (so the device ID / hardware has never been seen before, as well as the IP address associated with the phone) can I be linked in any way to my old suspended account with my old phone number? (Obviously I can if I log into my suspended account via the app but outside of that, is there any way?) I feel as if the answer is obviously no, but hey better safe than sorry. Thanks for any help!

In addition to the above question, I ask because I plan on starting a legit business on eBay soon with Tax ID #, EIN, real address, etc and want to be as legit as possible without using tracfones, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ addresses, etc and prefer to have my account in the palm of my hand. Thanks again!

What would you be using for the IP?

If your just running one account from the App than you will be good if you get a new phone.

You may also want to purchase a phone from a different carrier that way you are using a totally different IP pool

There are so many nice smartphones for sale now from every carrier that are prepaid and the cost of the phone is cheap along with the monthly plans

I would be using the sim card's IP address, sorry I should have clarified, the phone will have service with a cellphone provider.

This is true, I hadn't thought of that, Straight talk is only $45/ month for unlimited everything so that's not a bad deal.

Yes, I will only be running one account from this.

While the above posters do give you good advice, strongly recommend you always have backup accounts going in case something happens
