PayPal asking for SSN
 

So once you get close to or are projected to sell $20,000 worth of product, PayPal ask you for your Social Security Number.

How do you guys bypass this, or do you just burn the eBay/PayPal and move on?

I currently have a legit PayPal with my SSN attached, been with them for 8 years now. But my personal and first eBay account is banned from selling, so I assume it is dangerous to add to SSN to my stealth PayPal.

You have the option to attach an EIN instead of the SSN.
Do some research about that topic and youll find the answers as to how to get one and apply it to your account when the need arises.

But doesn't the EIN needs you to be in US? There is no way for non US residents right?

If your NOT in the U.S. but running a U.S. PayPal then perhaps you need to stay under the $20,000 mark or figure out a way to get an EIN or something similar.

International applicants may call 267-941-1099 (not a toll-free number) 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) Monday through Friday to obtain their EIN.
