went to list my first item 0/$00
 

I went to go list a new item. The paypal/ebay account is about a year old 100% verified. I did not know what user on my computer i logged into with it so I made a new one. When I went to go list my $5 used house hold item i got the "your limits have been reached" 0/$0 selling limits.

Is it because of the cookies? the account is old and has just been sitting. I think its because I listed on a new user with no cookies or history? is ebay really that sensitive?

What limits did you start with?

It could be the cookies, Ebay feels like all of the sudden your listing and there are no cookies. Most likely your gonna have to call in and fix it.

There we no limits listed

you can call and have them lift it? i thought they will ask the general questions about you like "where was your sister born" and give 4 options

I called and they could not find me gave me 20/500 limits!?!?! wattt

Ok, if there no limits showing then the limits were 0/0 to begin with.

I created like 4 accounts and they all have no limits showing

It actually happens a lot, sometimes it won't show you the limits till you actually list something, so you might want to start listing a 1st item on all of them and get it out of the way.

Actually if not limits are showing at first it doesnt necessarily mean $0/0 limits... The limits can show up several hours later.

I had this happen but even days went by and no limits were ever shown. every time I list an item when its not shown the account gets limited to 0/0. I bought an account with a girls name too... so when I call what should i even say? im a guy btw.

This may be hard to believe and it has worked for me 100% of the time..

But when you call you just say you are that name. They have never once questioned me even if the name was real feminine. Last time I called I was a Patricia and they never skipped a beat. :)

I honestly think they have a policy not to question a name to a voice for the simple fact of insulting a customer.

It is because they are not allowed to do that anymore due to sexual discrimination and same sex marriage laws etc https://www.gov.uk/government/public...heme-2010-2013, / https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender...ition_Act_2004 it would be against 'human rights' to question a persons name if they are male or female or transgender......... however IF this was before 2004/5 they would have question if your a male or female based on the name.

your defect on the ( all or one )
1- IP
2- Card that you are using on ebay
3- phone number

so a guy voice is patricia and they do not question it? I would want them to look in to it if someone called about my accounts with wrong gender voice, they could be not the owner....

oh and stuff the laws, on a personal level, nobody will ever persuade me that a man who cut his thing off is a she, he is a man with his thing cut off, internally he is still a man or at least he is not a woman internally anyway...annoys me what they are teaching our kids at school......there should be a 3rd group for them.....

You should to think about the brand of that card
