Did I just mess up?
 

Okay so I unconsciously just clicked on one of my saved on favorite tabs, and it was the main page of EBAY.
I was connected from a Wi-Fi where I used to use 2 suspended accounts. This is a new account created with my friends details. Its been now opened for like a month. I didnt do anything on the site, I just saw that the main page opened up and loaded with the account logged in. And as soon as it opened I closed it but im very scared now :pry: :help: Will it be closed/linked or something? I feel so bad now :(

Damn... Should I do anything? Listing ads took me so long, this is the last thing I needed right now. What about the money on my PayPal account? I dont want more money frozen :(

I've seen similar threads like this in the past and I don't remember reading 'oh no I got suspended again' from any of them... I don't think ebay will/can distinguish a link with a single load of an IP, on the main page of the site no less.

I really wouldn't worry about it (because honestly, you can't do anything about it so what's the point?)... continue playing it safe until the 90 day probationary period has passed and all should be well.

Maybe spend a few days going back to the browsing and bidding period, take a breather, then resume listing new stuff.

1 time alone is unlikely to cause trouble bnut don't repeat again

Over the years, I have washed out two monitors and killed keyboards when I did what you described.

These incidents were one off and there was no lethal outcome.

Now, take time to set up your system so there is no link to make damage.

^^ is spot on. I never commit anything to memory. Each windows account is configured to log in to a specific ebay / paypal with a specific ip. I use firewall and encryption enabled password managers.
Can't mess anything up even if I wanted to.

Make sure to take steps to avoid repeating and don't rely only on one account

Thank you rsot thats a great advice. Ive been thinking about creating a couple more backup accounts. I did read the guide but my router has a dynamic IP, and I cant get new IP adresses (to renew the IP ive had I had to ring my internet provider and they told me I cant get any more new IP adresses) so I find it kinda hard to create different accounts on the same laptop/router connection. I have never ever practiced any of the things im learning in this forum, so even the easiest things for some people, mean a hell for me to get them done.
