High risk items selling on eBay

Hello. I have lot of stealth ebay accounts. I am selling HIGH RISK items. When I list auction or buy it now with 1 or 2 quantity, everything goes well.

As well, I've listed items with quantity 3-4 but for lower price.

When I listed the same item for 2x higher price and made quantity 4 - after a few sales I've got MC999. Other newer account with auction and the same item - goes well.

My specific question: It is possible that ebay caught me because I've made bigger quantity and higher price? Maybe it is one of the reason of MC999?

yes, you answered your own question.

Have you tried listing the price as the same and making quantity 4?
Dont increase the price so high.

Re: High risk items selling on eBay

For example:

I've listed item for 37,99, quantity 4. All sales gone well.

I've listed the same item for 74,99, quantity is 2, it seems that sales gone well too.

I've listed the same item with price 79,99 and quantity 4, after the 2 items were sold, I've got MC999 and listing was removed.

So I've just wanted to know if it is true that it is reason of MC999 or it is just coincidence.

Re: High risk items selling on eBay

you account will never last selling high risk items from day 1.
You are just either being reported, or you are getting caught with VERO.

Million Dollar question.....Are your "VERO" items legit, meaning do you have legitimate supplier and invoices for these items?

Re: High risk items selling on eBay

And how long has the account been in existence selling these risky items? MM78's question is key as well.

Re: High risk items selling on eBay

Generally speaking: is it safer to sell high risk items after 30 days on a new stealth account?

There's no such thing as "safe", but generally speaking if you wait 30 days AND have some feedback on the account it may stay safe but again....there's no such thing as safe. If VERO agent want's your stuff taken down they can take it down no matter how many feedbacks you have.

Re: High risk items selling on eBay

Hi Guys
I purchased an aged ebay account and have just started selling low risk items approx 10-12 items for 99p or so.
I eventually want to be selling my main branded (im assuming high risk as branded) item auction style starting 99p and normally sells around £60.
Whats the best way to sell these as in when should i start selling these and how often.

Thanks ppl

@zill4y, welcome to the forums.

What does "aged eBay account" mean to you?

It doesn't really mean anything if the account has no transaction history.

Once an account hits 30 days old, there is no difference between it and an account at 6 months old if neither has any transaction history.

Exactly Ebayorbust - I was asking OP in order to understand his/her perception of stealth....

Hi Ebayorbust
Thanks for your reply. Well the account was made on start of November 2015 and have been browsing making cookies since then and few weeks been listing 99p items about 10-12.
Was wondering when to start introducing High risk items.

Sorry for my ignorance im a little slow at this lol.
Thanks again

@OP

Are you selling Vero? . Because I am afraid there is nothing you can do except have legitimate documentation. I am sure aging and making a few small transactions may help. But the help is very minimal.

Legit question tips for selling high risk items I have been selling small stuff on account for almost 6 months now and gradually increasing the value of items sold any tips to sell some big ticket items without being flagged

Re: High risk items selling on eBay

I take a riskier approach.

I LIST one low risk item auction, wait for bids, then start adding individual items - very high risk stuff. $200/each value.

I am currently building 16 25k limit accounts successfully.

I am keeping sales under 2k the first month, 3k the second month, 4k the third month, 5k indefinitely

i stay far far away from listing items with multiple quantity. I just relist individual actions after they sell. All BIN format.

I have been experimenting how far I can push these accounts before suspension, and the number is around 3-5k on a brand new account. I even pushed one to 10k.

How old is your account?
And (after creating a new account) how long did you wait before you started this increase?

It really depends on what you are referring to when you say "high risk". If you are referring to counterfeit goods, then it doesn't really matter how long you wait. Your accounts are still going to be at risk of limitation / suspension.
