When is eBay going to restrict my 2nd/3rd selling account?
 

I have four business accounts and one account is restricted due to out-of-stock rate > 2%. They all link to the same paypal account.

The thing I want to know is, how soon will eBay link others and restrict them since I still have few thousands active listings.

Any info will be appreciated. :help:

I don't think anyone can give you a definitive answer on that, you're sort of lucky it hasn't happened already... are the other 3 accounts TRS/vast selling history? I don't want to say they gave you a pass, but it's possible you may be able to continue selling on these accounts because of their selling history, never rely on that though.

What type of restriction did account 1 get? Was it a MC999 your seller privileges have been restricted indefinitely or...? Are you sure you're PERMANENTLY restricted on the first account?

Besides paypal do you also share the same user accounts and IP or do you keep everything separate?

You are definitely NOT operating based on Stealth. Using the same PayPal account has definitely linked the accounts. Whether or not the other accounts will go down, nobody can say for sure. But there is a good likelihood of the other accounts going down. You MIGHT get lucky, but that is not a certainty.

Having said that, I see no reason to close the accounts yourself. I would keep making sales. As long as the PayPal account is alive, I would make as many sales as I could. I would also be withdrawing from PayPal on a regular basis - you do not want to leave too much money in there in case PayPal decides to shut down your account and hold your funds for 180 days.

In the future, I would keep it to ONE eBay account per PayPal account.

It's a Selling Restriction :"We want to let you know that you haven’t met the minimum requirements to sell on eBay and your seller level is Below Standard in the US program. As such, you won't be able to list and sell items on eBay anymore."

I had spoke with eBay supervisor and he confirmed it's indefinitely.

Yes, everything are the same since they are my legit business, now I have to start running stealth.

Thanks for the info, will they actually limit PayPal due to eBay's restriction? :shocked:

Difficult to predict since it's all on eb to pick up and link the accounts. I guess, depending on how many customers are not satisfied, time will tell.

Learn stealth and get other accounts going if you want to have backups
