Ebay second account
 

So I have 2 ebay accounts but I have never sold on one. A while back I posted that one went below standard. I cannot sell on that account and its been like that over a month....however my second account has not changed and I have no restrictions on it. Is it safe to use or will it go below standard because of the first one?

I opened the second one when I realized my first one was going to be below standard ( too many cancellations by me during the holidays). I use the same pp address. ONce my first account went below standard, I just closed my seller account on that and let the second account sit thinking it would go below standard as well. Its been over month and no changes to it. And it actually had a higher limit than my first one.

I just don't want to start using it and then it get hits a few months later

Same pp address? Strong link - could go down as well...I would not rely on the eb account for long run purposes...

I would tread carefully on it too. Sounds like they are not associating the 2 accounts yet, but that can still happen later. Having 2 ebay accounts isnt a problem. The problem is when they link and one gets suspended or restricted.

Yea if you try and sell on that second account you created it will most likely go down like the first one as you used same PP address very strong link. ALWAYS create different accounts with different details :)

What about the same exact situation....

except they are two different email addresses..... on the same paypal account?

Eventually the link will be detected.

To help you long term, keep all this in your main thread.

Dangerous term is manual review.

If that happens, then the accounts get zapped.
