How many listing can be safely made on Ebay

Does anyone know how mnay items and at what average cost can be safely listed, say for a 30, 60 and 90 day account. Also is there a problem with buy it now listings.

that would be great information to have

I doubt if anyone can answer this. I am still amazed that you can't list as much as you would like. If you have a lot to sell you have a lot to sell. Ebay doesn't much see that line of thought.

A lot to sell when you are new seems to be a problem for them.

yeah it all depends on what your selling. I have heard of some people listing as much as 30 items a day and others only 10..

It really does depend on what you're selling. You can't possible list 50 auctions for cars in the ranges of 20k plus in one day. You can however list 20-40 auctions easy worth $10-$100 in one day. To be on the safe side list slow the first 30 days, up to 20 auctions a day in this range, and after that increase auctions if you need to. Some people say eBay doesn't care about how much you list per day. Trust me, they do.

Anyone know why?

Could it be that some people that don't have a history of selling and paying their fees "hit and run" and leave EB stuck with unpaid seller fees?

Dogface you already know why....lol fees and fraud

Well obviously this would have something to do with the types of items...I mean a bunch of very high priced ones or a dozen different items that could get hit by VeRO obviously CH.

But what is a reasonable amount of items to expect to put up initially... 10 $10 items, 5-$100 items. Rather than to suspend you why don't they just limit in some way like they do with your watch list.

Maybe 3 to start with and then never more than (x) for every positive feedback. I guess that idea flies in the face of EB because it makes too much sense and rewards performance.
