3 EBay Accounts + 3 paypal accounts
 

Hello, So my story goes.

I have 3 paypal accounts between my wife and I. I have 2 ebay accounts I have used for years now, I added on a third using my friends credentials. When it came to verify my account, I gave everything they had asked for, but was still suspended.

All 3 paypal accounts and all 3 ebay accounts had the same IP. If I use a stealth account attached to one of the other paypal accounts. Will they have these linked?

Will they go after my other out standing top rated accounts now?

Well, unfortunately you made a few mistakes:
1. Used someone elses info to make an account
2. You used the same IP for your accounts and the friends account

At this point it's hard to say if your other 2 accounts will stay safe. All you can do is just keep selling on your other 2 accounts and hope they don't get limited/banned.

Well I need a new account now, do you think I might be safe using a stealth account with one of the other paypal accounts?

NOT linking accounts is very important to learn.

Not ideal to attach a new paypal to an ebay account that has a suspended paypal previously.

Read more and ask more questions BEFORE making any accounts.

I don't think you answered my question directly.

I have 2 pristine paypal accounts that go way back. These are connected to the IP address of this one indefinitely suspended ebay account, and the 3rd paypal account that was involved. Will this make my other 2 paypal accounts guilty by association?

Yes, there is existing link.

I can not surmise if it has the potential to be fatal.

So an existing link will have a 100% chance to getting a stealth account restricted?

You can't mix and match Ebay and PayPals. If you go stealth, the Ebay and PayPal should match.

I'm hoping to by pass making a new paypal account. Do you think if I attached a stealth ebay account to one of my paypal accounts it could survive for a month?

It might last 2 days, 2 months, 5 months, 10 months....no one knows. In the end, it's up to you what you take away from our advice.

That's what I was curious about. I think I am going to call ebay, because they actually ruled in my favor unlocked my account then a week later It was suspended. So maybe I can reason with them.

Calling Ebay to sort it out would be your best bet than trying to roll the dice with non-matching ebay/PP.

Thanks MM78, freaking out here, just brought home a baby and my income just got put on hold. There shouldn't an issue with my friend using my paypal account for his store right?

Now I'm really confused, you were using his account to sell on eBay but he was using your PayPal for his store? Is it a brick/Mortar Store or online?

The ebay account was registered in his name(not sure why we did that), but the paypal account belongs to me. Does that answer your question?

You have a little mess going on. Mixing eBay and Paypal accounts and running multiple accounts all on the same IP of an already suspended account is chaos.

You can keep going with those accounts but they are on borrowed time, those accounts will not last if your looking to grow them into an established business.

The best solution is to learn stealth and create a new eBay and new Paypal account, using a new user account , IP address and so on.

If the other accounts are still running sell and make as much money as you can until eBay stops you, but keep that in mind they will not last and start and build new accounts.

Also dont keep money in those paypal accounts , withdraw often that way if they become limited there will not be a large amount locked up for 6 months

Not 100% but there is a chance...I wouldn't risk longterm dependence on these accounts

Majority of us prefer to never put odds on what might happen... Just let posters know there may be that option...

Keep in the back of your mind, both ebay/paypal are not reasonable...

Between my accounts I've used IP blockers So each account has probably had a different IP 40-50 times. Is there any chance that might be a saving grace?

Could well be the reverse.

IP Blockers are disliked by paypal. Could be harmful.

Catch up on how to do stealth or run into ongoing problems.

It is probably a good idea to start creating and setting up your stealth accounts asap so if/when eBay suspends your other accounts down the road, it will not disrupt your selling & income. Make a few more backups also when possible.
