Supplier Information

I was shafted with the eBay MC011 Limitation which asks for supplier information/invoice.

I have the legitimate receipts from retailers that I can provide to eBay showing I am in possession of the items I've listed for sale and that I acquired them legally, however my issue is that it would show I'm not making profit on my sales, and instead taking a loss.

Does eBay care about this - does it make it seem even more suspicious? Or as long as they are provided with an accurate invoice, regardless of my profit margins being positive or negative, they will honor them and release the limitation?

I've got the same notice. Any updates in this thread?

I doubt they will pay too much attention to it and worse case scenario you can always make an excuse or come with a story as to why you need to liquidate these items (sudden unexpected expenses to deal with or whatever) .

They are just looking for proof of ownership. That's all

I was asked for invoices etc a few months ago. I gave them all the invoices and they went ahead and shut me down. I wouldn't hold my hopes high on this one. They told me they couldn't verify my supplier.

Same situation to me. I was asked for invoices one week before. I am selling branded watches from China in ebay, but in Lithuania I have real e-shop with real watches and have real invoices from supplier. So I sent it to paypal and they limited my account for 180. They dont care about invoices, just want to close your account. :)

I had invoices asked from Ebay just one time. I sent what they asked me and they shut down my account anyway. :(

Re: Supplier Information

Your all wrong about invoices. So easy to pass them... Never had a limited account 5 times so far being asked for invoices. Just need to get creative and think what they want to see!!!

Every one of my invoice has taken losses on sales haha. Not one rejected, had one passed this last week. So PayPal or eBay when asking for invoices do not intend to shut you down.
