List of MC abbreviations and corresponding suspension reason??
 

There should really be a list of suspensions and their corresponding meaning. I see MC this, or that, and it really makes no sense to newer members, or people yet to be suspended. Itd be nice to see them all layed out in order.. in the same place.


fwiw, the suspension I'd be risking is using another account to circumvent selling limits. So itd be helpful to see a list, but especially to know what the MC code for that would be so I can search.

MC stands for Master Code. I did a google search for a list but I couldn't find anything comprehensive. But I know of a few:

MC999 - account suspended
MC013/MC133(?) - account info needs updating
MC011 - account restricted
MC016 - they caught you shill bidding
MC067 - vero takedown/trademark violation
MC008 - indefinite account restriction

Used to be codes were issued with nearly all suspensions.

This has been diminishing over past months.

You should notice in replies to posts we ask what was the notice....

Like dental extractions, we eventually get the info needed to advise.

For example, MC999 doesn't always mean suspension...in some cases it means limit raise and so forth.

Not all the countries issue MC notices either.
