Mc011

One one of my stealth accounts I received a email "We need some information before you can list more items.
And they decreased my selling from 30->23.
Next day My 2 Main accounts got a MC011 Your eBay selling account has been restricted. provide tracking numbers for all sold items.
Does anybody know what triggered this and is there a link?

Re: Mc011

I sent in all the tracking numbers and they now told me I am permanently banned for violating some policy they cannot share the details of.

I am totally with no business now. My paypal account was totally verified with SS.
Are ebay and paypal still one company?

What was your return % rate?

Re: Mc011

Not supplying tracking when you ship on a new account is not a good options. Odds are this was a major problem for ebay and they looked deeper into the account and did not like something or everything.

Ebay and paypal never stopped being one company. The separation between them is for accounting purposes only.

Re: Mc011

It looked fishy because lack of tracking numbers, then you had a manual review which they found something they didn't like...

You can move on to stealth and lesson learned is to try always add tracking numbers especially new accounts and don't withdraw any money until delivered.

Make new accounts or buy one from the seller here, take the lesson you learned and move on to better and bigger things!

Hope it works for you brother!!!

sarah74 asked this already.

@oethumb39, don't rely only on 1 account from here on...

Re: Mc011

I had around 5 returns open for last month but all were escalated and decided in my favour so would that still count as high return rate?
Also the strange thing is that I had tracking for every purchase and were all uploaded to my ebay via inkfrog.

I disabled all external images from my gmail settings but I was using an app to manage my various gmails that was auto downloading the images that I blocked.... (apps Cloudmagic and MyMail)
Is there any app that blocks external images?

I beg to differ about ebay and paypal still being together. I have 3 different paypals with my real info ande 2 stealth accounts and 1 real account with ebay. No problems for a year now, in the past all three would have been gone.

Ebay and paypal absolutely are owned by ebay still. They just happened to be traded separately now with ebay being the majority owner of paypal.

Frankly that may have been what did you in. Ebay does not like having to step in and deal with issues like this, because that's time one of their employees has to take out of their day to deal with YOUR problems. Sellers are expected to deal with their own disputes/returns. Otherwise "cases closed without seller resolution" wouldn't be a metric counted against you in your dashboard. Speaking of which.. had you checked your seller dashboard during any of this? I would bet it wasn't looking so good.

NEVER let a case close without seller resolution. 5 of those in one month is account suicide. It's just one of the downsides of selling online - you will occasionally be forced to take a loss by accepting a return. It's necessary for the health of your account though.
