Reinstall OS X on my Mac
 

Hello

I need some help please. I'm creating a new ghost account and
am about to do a complete system reinstall on my Mac

Apple give a few options and I'm just wondering which one i should use

Reinstall OS X from Recovery looks pretty straight forward. My current operating system is OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5

If I Reinstall OS X from Recovery, will that give me a clean slate for the most part and enable me to move on to the next step in the process

KillerWhale, I can't help with your question but, just for your info, you do not have to do a complete system reinstall to work on a stealth account.

A brand new user on your machine will do.

OP you posted thread in ebay and from the sounds of it your talking about Amazon.

I would do a complete reinstall of the system if its Amazon, just to be extremely safe. Or more so, consider virtual machines within your mac if you know what they are.

so basically I just need to reinstall the version of OS X that came with my Mac and I'm good to move on ?

Yes, I'm also looking at the virtual machine option, just not sure what my best option is
For now I just want one account however I plan to add some additional accounts once I get the 1st one set up

VMware is best. I have the Mac version, make sure u do a clean reinstall of OS on each account, do different variations such as screen resolution, fonts, and plenty of variations of products throughout accounts.

If thats your plan OP, I would suggest getting on to a clean state with a factory restore, and getting VMware up and running. Its going to take you a little time to grasp everything, but it will be worth it in the end.

If it was just one account you were after, you wouldn't need to bother with vmware so much.

Take glacier922's advice, their on the same boat as you :)

What product do i need to download from VMware and is it expensive ?

For my internet connection I use a broadband cable modem and wireless router. Will it be OK to run multiple accounts through this
