eBay account reinstated
 

I've received an email from eBay regarding on an dispute case before my account was suspended. And obviously I don't have any fund on the paypal account that is associated with this account. see below,

"We issued a refund of $49.99 on Jun 26, 2016 to xxx. As described in the eBay Money Back Guarantee program, the refund includes the purchase price, plus original shipping. When we refunded the buyer for this case, we charged your preferred payment method.


Here are the details:xxx
xxxxxx
xxxxxx"

And right after this E-mail I've also received another saying my account has been reinstated.

We're happy to let you know that we've reinstated your account. Your account should now be in good standing as long as you don't have any other suspensions. Please keep in mind that although your account is now active, any listings or bids canceled by your account suspension won't be reinstated.

As a newly reinstated seller, please note that access to funds from buyer payments will be delayed to promote successful fulfillment. To access your funds as quickly as 3 days after eBay confirms delivery, we recommend that you print your shipping label on eBay and ship within 24 hours after your buyer pays. When you purchase postage and print shipping labels on eBay, funds for shipping will be available to you immediately (up to $15). This delay will apply to your selling activity for 90 days after your reinstatement.

My question here is, did they really reinstated my account? or just try to trick me to reimburse the $49.99 back into the account lol? Has anyone experienced this before? I would def. pay that amount to get my account reinstated.

Did you log into the eb account and pp account to see if any reinstatement was done?

That is very odd...perhaps a trap to get u to pay ya fees?

I logged in and the status of the account is suspended still. I am wondering if I have to pay first to get it reinstated. What do u think?

I did, and acct is suspended still. That's why I m asking for opinions here.

I would reply back to that message asking why you are still suspended.

Dont part with any money before your guaranteed the account.

Is this another stealth account, or your actual main account?

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if the account will not be reinstated unless unless the account is current. Over all I would bet the eBay is owed a good bit of money just in small amounts on closed (Limited/Suspended) accounts.:attention:

Its all a matter for getting back the $$$ from you simple tactics they are using now a day

I'm just waiting till eBay pulls that prince needing you to send like some thousands of dollars scam x) I give it 2 yrs at the rate they suspend and ban accounts

Ok I email'ed them saying my account is not yet reinstated and below is their response.

First, we apologize for any delay with responding with your email but definitely this will be taken into priority.



I thoroughly checked your account and I see it’s not yet reinstated since the balance is still left unpaid. Sorry for the confusion but to clarify your account was not successfully reinstated since the amount of $49.99 needs to be settled first.



We'll reinstate your account as soon as we receive payment for the overdue amount. We accept payment by PayPal, credit card, direct debit, check, or money order.



Here's how to make a one-time payment:



1. Go to My eBay. You may need to sign in.

2. Click the "Account" tab.

3. Under "Payment methods for Seller Fees," click the "one-time payment" link.

4. Follow the instructions to complete your payment.



How long will it take for your payment to go through?



-- One-time credit card and direct debit payments post immediately to your account.

-- PayPal payments take approximately 5 business days to post.

-- Checks and money orders take approximately 7-10 business days to post."

Since my account is already restricted from selling, i dont think they will life that restriction although i pay the amount owe.

skindrinks, it depends on a few things but most importantly, why was your account closed up to begin with?

Just pay the 50 bucks, you should be good 99% of the time. Its only 50 bucks, not 100's!

Not if he was limited for above .30% unresolved cases or for suspicious activity or fraud or not responding to cases or shipping items after being banned originally. All of those things will permanently kill accounts.

You really need to understand these things and the question he originally asked before offering advice.

Yes im understanding quite clear. Lady rep said good to go, pay up. Its not rocket science. May have low limits, but after cultivating the account it will resume.

And 50 is nothing. I blew 5 grand in a month at a casino without a tear. 50 is chump change!

Except we have countless threads and statements from members who a rep has told them to pay and then not reinstated....OR reinstated for ONE DAY and then banned.

So, yes, your advice is not good advice at all in anyway, Just because $50.00 is looser money to you, does not mean it is to every other member. As a matter of fact, I think most members $50.00 is a lot of money to loose.

Ya well I got you beat. My stealth was suspended. I called and all I had to pay was the case loss ...thats it. They do reinstate accounts when money is owed is paid. They have for me.

Sounds like there is only one way to truly find out, you will have to pay the fees and wait for eBay. There is only 1 other option so you will never have to worry about this again, make multiple stealth accounts. This way when one goes downn or this type of situation happens again you won't have to worry about it or even question it, you just move to the next time account. This is a lot less hassle.

But why was the account suspended? That is my entire point..... Not just the fees....
