Merchant plus and Gateways
 

I just sighned up for Merchant plus. does anyone use Authorize net at there gateway or do you just use merchant plus? I did contact Merchant Plus and they stated that they do not have invoices to enter peoples account numbers the buyer has to contact you with there info for you to input there credit card numbers I have a number on my ebay account That I do not want used can I change that number on my ebay account to a 800 number without a redflagged with ebay (I dont want my account to be susepended again) ?
And do people have problems have giving numbers over the phone or via internet with the credit info, and is this how you work Merchant plus? I just want to be on the right track.. Please Reply:confused:

My take on this is if you change any info on your ebay account it will send up a red flag. I got booted for changing my User ID to better fit the items I was selling and in less the 24 hours they booted me off for being associated with a suspended user. Off course there were other things that I did not take care off when I when back, but best not to change anything. Create a website also for what you are selling on ebay and direct people there for payment using authorize net or companies that your hosting company recommends. Anyone else have an insight on this?

So I guess what you are telling me is to sign up for a new ebay account and then sign up for the merchant account? Also have you used merchant plus or do you like authorze.net or do you use both? Please reply?
