Old Account Suspended - Worried about affect on credit
 

Hi,

I have just stumbled across an ebay account that I had when I was about 14, 8 years ago now. I know, I shouldn't have had one.

Anyway, the reason I stopped using this account was that someone won an item of mine (A gameboy game) for £3500, at the time I had never imagined money like this, I was ecstatic... They didn't pay, I was billed £75 fees from ebay. I didn't know what to do as a kid, I just ignored it as I was so scared. I remember now, Ebay threatened with CCJ's and other credit blacklists. I thought it got sorted by the mother but as I have logged back in to the old account, it is still suspended and fees still outstanding.

Now I can't access any "selling" areas of the account. So I can't report a non-payment. Could anyone advise me my options here? Should I just call Ebay? I'm just a little worried this is affecting my credit rating.

Check your credit report and see if they reported the fees. If they did, I would pay the balance with whatever credit agency has the balance (assuming they collected the debt)
