when ebay checks ID with credit card, what info do they check. When I enter ccard info manually into my processor, the info entered is ccard number, exp date, 3 digit no.. To verify address, I enter first 1 to 5 numbers in address and zip code.

so if your real address was 123 main street, beverlyhills 90210
Could you get away with 123 sudsberry street beverlyhills 90210

I sometimes use:

123 main streets, beverlyhills 90210
123 mains street, beverlyhills 90210
122 main street, beverlyhills 90210
121 main streets, beverlyhills 90210
125 main stree, beverlyhills 90210

Basically different variations of the real address if eBay is being anal about it.

Is there a problem using 234 main street instead of 1234 main st, especially when 234 does not exist?
Also, are you using aliases or variations of your real name.

I know from experience that it will find its way to my house with the correct name, but first digit of house number missing

my address is 1234 but I have received mail addressed to 234 (because there is no real address of 234) but it had my real name on it.
I do conveniently live in a city with 2 names in it like beverly hills, so could I use beverlyhills for a second registration with all of the other information the same?
