Paypal Requesting Social Security Number, please help?
 

I'm trying to create my first stealth account but I'm running into problems.

I created a stealth Ebay account fine, but I'm having trouble creating a Paypal account.

I initially chose to start with a Paypal Business account, thinking there would be no difference between creating a new Business or Personal account.

But it is insisting that I enter my social security number and date of birth before I can access my account.

Using an EIN does not seem to be an option.

It says:

This information is required to verify your identity. This helps us to keep the PayPal community safe as well as meet government regulations.

I also cannot go back and create a personal account either.

What should I do now?

Or start over fresh since not much has been put into this stealth account yet and do things properly this time.

Start everything again but this time with a PayPal personal account.

Start over, EINs are more valuable than new paypal accounts in my opinion

I have one question. My paypal account exceeded 20,000 +200 for the year. I think I added the ein incorrectly.
Should I bother correcting it on the current paypal or can I start a new paypal with that unused ein.

You can also just get a new EIN anytime, IRS allows you to get one EIN per day on their website. I have quite a few.... As long as you are being legitimate and paying taxes on any merchant/bank accounts from which the money that the business attached to said EIN goes through on your personal return (as long as you don't have partners on the venture) you are 100% safe and legal.
