Transwiz - Transfering User Profiles to New PC

I found this great program that is free that helps you compress then transfer your entire user profile over. So far I have done this for two user profiles without any issues.

You install the program on both computers. Compress your user profile (takes 20 - 30 minutes for a profile solely used for ebay), transfer the compressed file to usb stick, external hardrive, etc,. Then open the program on the other computer and it gives you an option to migrate the profile.

I'm curious if anyone else has experience with this program?

Never knew of it before.
Sounds like an interesting and useful little tool for those wishing to switch to a new machine or upgrade their current PC device.

Sounds like a pretty cool tool.

So long as it transfers the cookies over (and i'm sure it would) I think its safe to say it would work fine.

Here is a response I got from the company. I asked them direct questions about what I need.:

Hi ,

Transwiz is designed to migrate the complete user profile, and only the user profile: so only the data and settings under C:\Users\username.

Cookies are stored within the profile folder, so there should never be any chance that data from another user profile will get be mixed up. For example, Chrome cookies are stored C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default.
