Is all canon refillable ink the same? Got myself a canon ts9020...
 

There's a special ink called pigment ink. Normally other printers use 5 ink cartridges, cyan, magenta, yellow, black and gray. My printer has an extra one, called pigment black, or photo black. When I look at other ebay sellers, it just says pigment black for a different brand of canon. Should this work? As you all know, I print tons of labels everyday, so refillable is the best option for me. Just wondering if this ink will work for the pigment ink for all canon. thx.

Can always try it and have a backup cartridge should things go badly. But for shipping labels I wouldn't use anything other than thermal.

Why thermal over an inkjet? More printouts per ink?

Unlimited as long as you have electricity, no ink, all heat based (superheating the paper black). Check out a Zebra LP 2844 or a DYMO 4XL. UPS will ship you free 4x6in labels in rolls of 1000 as long as you have an account with them (also free).

Just came in here to say the same. Use thermal , no ink .
