Anyone ever have a Gmail account not sync with Android?

Anyone ever have a Gmail account not want to sync with Gmail app on a Android device?

I checked all the settings... They're correct... Days to sync = 30... only syncing Gmail...

I deleted the Gmail account from the Android device... removed the Android device from the devices list of the Google account.. and I rebooted the Android device... Then reconnected the Gmail account... Still nothing...

It syncs no problem with this other Android device I have but for what ever reason, its just stuck on "Getting your messages" on my personal phone.

There is no update to get for Gmail... I'm out of things to try on this one...

I had this issue a while back, Are you sure you still have enough free disk space on your phone? Do you have the latest version of the gmail app?
