Answer Buyer Questions Through Auctiva?
 

Hi There.

I am using a new stealth ebay account and listing through Auctiva. I just got asked a question about an item I listed, but do not want to login directly to ebay to answer it (as ebay will then see my ip address linked to my old account).

I cannot seem to find a way to answer questions through auctiva. Is there a way? And can someone point me to the right place in Auctiva to answer questions?

Or if it is not possible, it there any alternate means to answer questions without logging directly into ebay?

no, you dont answer thru auctiva, just reply button on your email, it goes directly to the member

This it what I do all the time, no need to log in eebay.

i have the same problem,

sometimes when i click reply button, it goes to ebay email address or yellowbutton...
i don't know how this could happen, but it happen with some buyer email..

so how can we reply the buyer question then without login to ebay?

Chow, that is because the buyer has clicked the hide my email option, when sending the question.

Some people put in their listings for people to not block their email when asking questions.

so...that's been very frustated..

change the IP
login to ebay, just to reply one questions

what do they thinking...., want some answer but don't want us to reply :smash:

I have dial up where I log in just to answer the questions if buyer doesn't want me to know their email address...don't know if you have similar option available in China though. But, I think I read somewhere here that there is new option in Auctiva where you can do this - answer the questions, but hasn't been explored as of yet.. Maybe somebody knows?

I personally don’t answer emails from the buyers that don’t show their email. Why? Because 99% they ask I already talked in the listening. From my experience in the past, those buyers don’t bring you the most profit, sometimes more trouble.

made their own mistakes
and blame us as sellers

Yeah, it sucks. I wish it was easier responding to questions, without having to reset the ip. It's not quite as bad when it's a question after the person buys because then you do have the email address.... I think they changed this recently to by default hide everyones email. In a perfect world you could just reply to ebays email and it get forwarded to them. That would be too easy for ebay though, douches
