Auctiva - Problems

Signed up for Auctiva's $9.99 a month plan yesterday. Not happy so far

I couldn't find out how to end a listing, so eventually had to contact customer support, and they said you can't do it in Auctiva, only through Ebay itself, which is no good because they will see my IP address. Now what I have to do is increase the price of the item so nobody buys it!, absurd!. Don't know why this info is not in their help pages.

Now i'm listing a new item, and it says it's active, but when I go to Ebay its not there!. I go to the traffic lights notifications thing and I get error messages:

"The Return Policy field Refund in the input has been ignored" Not true
"Dropped condition from Item specifics." I don't even know what this means
:tears:

Auctiva are telling me that Ebay take up to 6 hours to 'index' an item, since when?, never had that on EBay. Maybe Ebay don't like Auctiva and they are trying to make life difficult for Auctiva customers?

It seems that things in Auctiva get randomly delayed - maybe an issue with uploading their stuff to eBay or...'new' software program on eBay to screen the listings coming through?

But yes, as usual eBay probably does a bit to cause headache in order for people to stick to ebay directly or their own paid services...makes perfect sense in their own eyes.

It depends on the product itself. I dont think it is all auctiva job. I had same problem useing ebay alone, if the product is not so simple. I mean if you selling some kind of software that is popular and so on. Auctiva is great service and I recomend using it, but you need to understand that it wont solve all the problems, you will still have to use ebay for paying fees, ending items early....

I don't think you can edit Auctiva once it's listed.

Where is function called "bulk revice" so you can edit listenings with no problems at all.

Ebay can take even 12 hours for item to become live. I just started noticing this recently.

Does bulk revise actually do what it claims? from what I can see you can only pick a load of listings and change them all to one price, sucks.

I have not used auctiva since they went paid, but will begin again soon, but if i remember correctly , you can revise your items.

But you cannot get around not logging into ebay ever, you still need to pay fees and whatnot

also there is the issue of answering buyer questions, which if you hit reply in your email will show ebay your ID, and or alternatively if you answer within the ebay message system, you will also need to log in.

auctiva just diminishes your risk, not eliminates it

I was playing with it, and you can do it, but I think it entails setting up an Auctiva ecommerce store, could be wrong.

Yes Auctiva is not a 100% solution unfortunately. Still need to pay fees, cancel transactions, change details and whatnot.

Best to try and pout as much info as possible on listings to reduce questions and therefore ris

I dont think its a problem.Correct me if Im wrong but I think Ebay doesnt shut you down if you log in to answer an email while you are travelling etc. there is only a potential problem if you start a new listing from an unknown ip address. You can change details from auctiva and your credit card automatically pays the fees no need to pay fees.
I rarely get emails from customers but I could simply state in the auction that because I am travelling most of the time I only answer direct emails as I cannot log into my ebay with my mobile device. If they really want to talk with me they can send an email.
If they have already purchased and paid for the item you just get the email from the paypal invoice.
Auctiva might be a pain if you were used to using turbolister and have many items to list.
