 Auctiva--****changing User Id-- ****
HI, Folks:
I have seen this question asked before in this forum, (Can we just Change our Auctiva ID/User Name when we get the axe from ebay?)
AND,
I have wondered myself..
--I just looked it up directly on Auctiva, Heres what one of their Mods
Replied with back in September:
Yes, you can change it, here's a quote from Auctiva's help menu:
You must file a support request to change your Auctiva username. In the support request, please include what you would like your new username to be.
**SO_ if this is TRUE-- (then I guess we would have to delete the token, go to a diff ip, create a new TOKEN??)-
** I'm gonna try it.. heck, when i have spent countless hours uploading say 300 photos, then the descripts,
then only to have the acct taken down 2 hours later for "Abusing",,
-- "IF" this works, I will let you know,, I will try it on one of my experimental accts,
-- I want to see if the acct stays up after the changes to the:
a.) token
b.) profile for checkout-
c.) some minor changes in shipping profile
**NOw, I'm not talking about an acct thats been up for months, recycling the photos over and over + the descripts, I am talking about the acct was just set up,
You got everything loaded + bam... its gone,, all that work for nothing??
(If it works, then... I use an acct for the recycled pics,etc. to further test this??)
**NOTE: I WOULD NOT try this yourself--unless you are on a Public Library pc, and the acct is a "throw away"...
