Auctiva w/ Proxy Usage
 

I was wondering if I needed to use a proxy for auctiva to avoid getting nabbed by ebay. Proxify is great, but it won't let me view some fields in some programs. When I list with auctiva and check my cookies ebay doesn't show up, but I'm a little nervous. If I should use a proxy with auctiva, any suggestions on anonymous proxy programs (don't say ghostsurf... I'm on a debilitating Mac!)? Thanks!

Though it's never been completely confirmed, auctiva seems to be safe enough for now. Plenty of users have had no problems. There is a confirmation key generated so that auctiva can host your auctions, but (we are told) nothing is shared with ebay since Auctiva is not ebay owned. However, if ebay ever did decide to buy them out or create some closer relationship, the technology is there. So if it makes you feel better, by all means use a proxy. But it doesn't appear to be necessary.

Hi there, can anyone tell me if it is possible to use proxy to login auctiva? I use GhostSurfer Platinum and i try to login auctiva but it never allows me :(

GhostSurfer Platinum?? No! this software never allows you to log on eBay either, same problem with Auctiva, not surprise. i think AOL brower can probably hide your id when log on Auctiva.
