| | | TowelKing | 08-16-2012 08:03 PM | What can I use to answer messages on multiple ebay accounts? inkfrog and auctiva don't seem to have the option to send messages to buyers... is there any easy solution for this?
Thank you for the help. |
| jamcocktail21 | 08-16-2012 10:05 PM | pushauction
good luck |
Logging into each account is not a viable option? |
| TowelKing | 08-17-2012 03:35 PM | Switching IP's all the time is frustrating, especially when I want to give fast answers.
Is pushauction safe? ebay won't know my IP when I answer messages through it? |
If jamcocktail has used this service, he seems to be wise on it - worth a shot. |
| jamcocktail21 | 08-18-2012 12:01 PM | Thanks rsot yes the pushauction is safe...I have other 20 accounts with them everything works great.... |
| JJGold | 08-18-2012 12:52 PM | So how is it different then replying via gmail? Gmail's messages are sent from gmail's servers and don't reveal your IP the same way Pushauction's are sent from their servers. |

I sent an email to them to see if this is really true. PA4 is really expensive. $15.00 per month per ebay account. Hence, 20 stealth accounts = $300.00 per month. This is crazy. Who are they targeting PA4 to, if true? |

The free version of PA4 only allows you to sync with ebay once per hour and, it is very weird in terms of sync. Pricing, of course, makes it impossible to go for it. 20 stealth accounts X $15 = $300 per month. |
I've been wondering this too.
I plan on having 10 accounts up & running soon and there's no way I could log in & out of user accounts on my computer, just to check the e-mails.
Someone mentioned to me that I could have all e-mails automatically forwarded to one, but then I wondered - If I opened them up, wouldn't they all just get linked at once? :S |

| Ebayorbust | 08-22-2012 11:21 AM | Not sure about US, but this is still okay to do in the UK. |
| John11uk | 08-23-2012 05:16 AM | What about using Outlook and linking multiple gmail accounts to it? This is what I am using now. I have 10 gmail accounts lined to my outlook and so far so good. |
| TowelKing | 09-11-2012 01:06 PM | Well, I tried pushauction but it isn't really good - messages show up with a 3 day delay.
However, I found out I can reply to message through my gmail account. So I guess that's gonna solve my problem. |
| GrannyT | 09-11-2012 02:00 PM | I use Thunderbird to read my messages and then if one needs a reply I log into that user account.
I'm a dumbo where internet and apps etc is concerned so I like to keep it simple and sweet.
I check Thunderbird every two hours or so and deal with anything apertaining there and then.
Ebay is only part of my working life. I also have eggs from 6000 chickens to grade and pack, pigs to feed, thankfully the orphan lambs are now weened so life is getting a bit less hectic. Plus I like to ride at least once a day (weather permitting) Problems with emails I do not want and Thunderbird works great for me.
A really good member who we don't see now (shadyone) mentored me through it - like I said I'm dumb but Thunderbird works great for me |

Excellent - hows the beta testing going? |
| ListersIn | 09-15-2012 07:42 PM | There are still many bugs, I'm fixing them everyday.
But "Replying to message" feature should work rightly. |
Good stuff - looking forward to it working out for you |
| baloch | 09-17-2012 01:51 PM | listersIn hope to see a bug free version soon. there are alot of people here would test and give you feedback on the beta if necessary.
Thunderbird works good but I do what GrannyT does and just log in and reply but I do it every 5 hours instead as I don't sell as much. |
| slim jim | 09-17-2012 02:49 PM | would definitely test it out! good luck ! |

| sommer33 | 11-06-2012 01:20 AM | so gmail is confirmed to be not safe right? and thunderbird seems to be fine so far? but you still can't reply direct using thunderbird, still have to log on into different user account - then might as well check directly with user account, instead of every a few hours, maybe every one or other day. am i missing something here?
and does anyone hire ppl to work as customer rep.? that case how would your workers handle the daily managing efficiently? probably can't expect him to log in and out and keep ip log and make no mistake.... |
| GreenBean | 11-06-2012 01:26 AM | Gmail is fine as long as images are disabled.
:shhh: |
I started using Yahoo because opening gmail accounts is a pain these days. I blocked images, but yesterday I opened an email on my phone, and it opened images!. I then logged into the Paypal account and it asked me to change my password and security questions. Not happy, will change back. |
I use Yahoo on one account as test few months ago - have to manually disable images - didnt particularly like it. But it did not cause my accounts problems. |
| Elijah | 11-06-2012 07:57 AM | Yahoo! are a bunch of tards... one day your password randomly won't work, and if you entered gibberish details at registration, you are locked out forever.
After that crap I switched to Gmail and make all my accounts from my phone... which is surprisingly much faster than doing it on PC, one of the reasons being that you don't need to input a phone number each time you register like you have to on the PC, and youy don't have to deal with the "too many accounts sue this phone number" message.. |
I just don't like the way Gmail and Google are going these days, asking for your number to "protect your account". Oh well I will just give them the number of an unregistered sim. |
| Elijah | 11-06-2012 08:19 AM | Or make the account from your phone? |
Ah yes you said that works, will.give it a shot |
| HurricaneHuntr | 11-13-2012 09:48 AM | Yeah i use gmail to respond, they don't send the IP...
and same thing, i create all my gmails from my phone, takes a few mins and i can make as many as i want.. online is a hassle. |
| sommer33 | 11-13-2012 07:11 PM | thanks! so forward all email to one gmail, label them and reply direct in gmail with image disabled, seems to be the best option. because you can filter and choose what gets forwarded, that way you eliminate inbox emails, just answer the important ones.
if this works then hire a customer rep to handle daily emails should not be a problem anymore! excited!
can you use inkfrog to manage multiple account and print shipping? that way the listing and after sale part also gets taken care of for multiple account.
and someone mentioned using vps to switch ip, i remembered greenbean somewhere said vps is a no no, true? Quote:

| lisa21801 | 11-13-2012 08:12 PM | Hi,
I have tested ts for about 10 months now. I have not had an acct go down at all.
I use my iPad, for browsing, for just answering buyer questions on gmail, yahoo mail,
Aolmail, hotmail,
When you go to settings, scroll to safari,
Then clear cashe, and then clear cookies.
I do this after each account is accessed.
So far, so good.plus, it's so darn convenient when you are lounging
And don't want to sit with a bulky laptop, etc.
Btw, I manage a little more than 25 accts at present. Trying to keep busy.
Good luck all. |

| Elijah | 11-14-2012 03:43 AM | Personally I'm avoiding Gmail for replying to eBay messages... I got an MC081 FPA on one account and an MC081 CIT on another a few days after replying through Gmail. Neither of the accounts were doing anything "dodgy" so I think that's it's more than a coincidence that they both went down at the same time after using Gmail.
It may take longer but I'm just going to log into each account individually and do it the old-fashioned way... at least I know that I'm safe. |
| sommer33 | 11-14-2012 03:18 PM | good to know, this thread is becoming really cool because of ppl adding their experiences!
i will try probably 2 accounts with thunderbird direct emailing and others old fashioned for now to test out. but when it comes to listing and adding tracking number you still have to log into your user account right? Quote:

| Emanresu | 11-17-2012 08:04 AM | POP Peeper - Email Notification
I use that to grab all incoming mail. If something needs answered then I log into that account. You can set it to grab emails at set intervals. Email accounts can be color coded. |
| TurtleCove | 12-02-2012 01:04 AM | Lisa, can you give us more info on using your iPad?
You say you're managing 25 accounts, but are you logging into EB from your iPad for each of these accounts? And, not changing your IP address, but simply clearing cookies? | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:45 PM. | |
