I didn't find it useful. It was mostly basic stuff.

While you can't price things too high, if you price stuff too low and are just one person then you will run out of time to handle them all. But if you price them higher, you sell what you have time to handle and make more money. Plus it's a verified fact I and others have observed that the lower the price of the item, the more likely the buyer will leave bad feedback.

The eBay store isn't an option if you have a large number of ebay accounts selling a small amount each.

Modee is 100% correct. I'm a cheapskate and I complain when my dollar double cheeseburger is screwed up. It's just the demographics. I'm not even the crazy demographic. ebay attracts real lowlifes, kinda like walmart. Everytime I return a cheap prebroken product at walmart, I see at least 1 person returning something stolen, and another waiting 20 minutes in line to return a $1 item because they were not 100% satisfied. Some people leave negatives or threaten to do so in exchange for free stuff because somehow wasting hours online emailing back and forth is worth the effort on low dollar items lol

Also, everyone can afford cheap items, especially when payday is coming up. That means you have not prescreened anyone out. More expensive listings prescreen those out who cannot afford it. This process eliminates many of people who don't have a gradeschool education.

For instance if I sell an item for let's say at $20 and then a buyer goes saying oh they are so poor they can't afford $20, even though the item is way below what most sell for. Then I later see the same buyer go and buy something from another seller for $1000.

Also why are 90% of eBay buyers constantly in the hospital all the time?

because the last seller broke their legs for not paying? lol

30% of her items that she lists sell compared to my 90% and she's the one giving the advice :rolleyes:.

I thought overall it was a good article. Clearly the catorgorys she sells in arent the most loved on ebay so her sale percentage wouldnt be as high as someone who sells 'in demand' items.
