You can view source even if they used illegal abusive javascript that hacks your right mouse button (illegal because it is technically a denial of service attack). You can also turn off javascript.
Copying listings flat out is not good. Try to change them. But if someone uses illegal abusive javascript that hacks your right mouse button then they deserve it. I've reported tons of people for this and eBay does nothing. When I email ebay and ask if it is a violation, eBay refuses to answer my question and just gives random unrelated form letters.
So again, while copying outright without is wrong, if you are going to copy then only do it for people who are abusing javascript like that because they deserve it. But also, if you do copy then you'll get your listings pulled. Since copying a listing is easy, this thread would make more sense for a program to automatically alter the text to de-plagarize it, but I am pretty sure such a tool has not been invented yet.
