| | | makingmoneyiseasy | 01-08-2013 07:28 AM | INKFROG QUESTION: How many ebay accounts per Ink Frog do you use?? INKFROG QUESTION: How many ebay accounts per Ink Frog do you use?? I have 2 ink frog accounts with 6 accounts on 1 and 3 on the other.
I'm sure most of us inkfrog users know that the pictures are tagged with your ink frog user name.
Not really sure if this was ever a big concern or not. I sell non vero/non high risk items.
:help:
ALL my accounts have been going strong for about a year. I would like to keep it that way if possible. Perhaps this focus will be on NEW ebay accounts since maybe my old accounts are all linked thru inkfrog??? |
| HurricaneHuntr | 01-14-2013 03:20 PM | I have always used auctiva. My only problem with auctiva is, it's slow... sometimes the labels don't show up to print, sometimes it imports the sale twice and if im not paying attention once or twice a year i'll ship the item to the person twice... I've complained for a year to them to fix certain issues. the good part is. After 50 feedback, you don't have to prepay. i JUST link it with paypal and it pays at 100$ or once a month. Outright once set, marks auctiva as shipping costs, and thus everything is all tidy for my tax man Sam. |
| Elijah | 01-14-2013 03:23 PM | I have one Inkfrog account have had hundreds of accounts linked to it. It has never been a problem.
And using the Inkfrog picture gallery has never been a problem for me, it has never linked me. You will be fine. |
| Mr. Invisible | 01-15-2013 09:38 AM | I also use inkfrog for multiple accounts. The image host link has not been a problem but it does drive me crazy.
So I opened another account with a short 3 digit number as name and use numbers as my pic names to disguise things a bit. |

Thinking of setting up an inkfrog account. Is there anything I should be wary of? I have seen some posts alluding to a linking problem if you host your photos on their site? Is this for real? Thanks. |
| zoneout | 01-23-2013 10:25 AM | :bump:............. |
| Elijah | 01-23-2013 10:53 AM | That is what I was referring to with "picture gallery" in my other post. It has never linked me before. |
| zoneout | 02-15-2013 03:35 AM | @Elijah, and @Mr Invisible... when you create your inkfrog listings do you put photos in the description area or do your images only appear in the usual upper left ebay gallery image area?
The reason I ask is that the upper left gallery photos are uploaded to ebay and so do not point back to inkfrog, whilst the images in the description area are hosted at inkfrog and contain the urls with the user id in them.
A longtime member here @rockitaway says they were linked by this a while back.
I am using IF but only using safe gallery images - nothing in the description area.
Just wanted to compare notes with other IF users so we are all on the same page and can keep our heads above water. |

| Yes, but there still is no definitive answer. Elijah and Invisible say they have not been linked but we dont know if they use the option to put images in the description which is where the questionable urls lurk. Rockitaway says they were linked with this. I have played it safe so far and only use the gallery images which arent hosted on IF.
I am trying to open a dialog with IF as to workarounds, future plans, etc. The guy was pretty helpful he said if the template source code was customizable we could fix this ourselves but unfortunately it isnt at this point.
I would love to get more insight on this. Even though eb might not be targeting this at the moment it is an easy point of attack should they choose. |

Just wondering if you ever received the information on this? I wouldn't want to link multiple accounts through inkfrog and then get zapped. |
| zoneout | 03-31-2013 12:58 AM | No it's still an open question. Scouring the forum I have found 3 people that say it is safe and 1 says they were linked. Without knowing the details it could have been coincidence and something else linked them.
My gut says it is marginally safe. Would it pass scrutiny of a manual review - that is the question. Thus I think the idea posted here of using numbered accts to disguise it a bit is valid but not entirely foolproof - it might avoid detection of somebody casually glancing at it. |
| Mr. Invisible | 03-31-2013 09:38 PM | Missed your ? zoneout back in Feb, I was not around site regularly during that time.
I have done both without getting linked. I used to go with the standard inkfrog gallery, but the account name being so blatantly obvious in the pic url was driving me crazy. So, Now I just upload the gallery pic to ebay & embed the rest in the description. |
| zoneout | 03-31-2013 09:53 PM | BTW, I wanted to change my IF user to a number as you did but they cannot do it. They tell you to open a new acct and cancel the old. I was doing the same... just upload the gallery pic to ebay. |
| Mr. Invisible | 03-31-2013 11:09 PM | I had to open a new account, I contacted them about changing it but got no feedback.
My new account is a simple 3 digit number. I also name my pics numbers too.
It probably doesn't make much of a difference, but It makes me feel less paranoid. |

| bakica | 04-12-2013 06:04 AM | Hi, I would like to know if I can run multiple ebay accounts with only one Ipkfrog account and only one Paypal account linked to the particular Ipkfrog account or I need multiple Paypal accounts for each ebay account? |
| AuctionsDenied | 04-14-2013 01:41 AM | The answer to the first question is yes.
The answer to the second can be found in the stealth guide and throughout this forum. |
| bakica | 04-14-2013 11:44 AM | Paypal issues I got suspended from ebay, but my paypal account works fine. It's verified and I have my SSN linked to my paypal acc. Will that Paypal get linked if I use it on Inkfrog or Auctiva with new Ebay account and of course with new IP address and New user on my PC? |

As far as the pp account, start fresh |
On this forum we suggest 1 EBay to 1 Paypal...all new info, none of this mismatch games. Get the Stealth Book and stop thinking of how to make short-cuts that will eventually give you headaches!!!! |
