Ok. I know that when you first list an item you have to go through the phone verification process. I am also aware that ebay will be monitoring where you log on to list other items and if say its from a coffee shop or internet cafe they will automatically try to phone verify your account again. But isnt this kinda stupid since you can list through auctiva and as far as i know they dont share information so you can list from anywhere and ebay wouldnt be able to know where it was listed from..right? You only really have to log on when you have questions. So whats the point of monitoring that much.

EBay is still limiting accounts for verification even if you are using Auctiva. It'll happen, it's happened to a few users already. They had to log into eBay to verify and then they could list.
I did try to list through auctiva when phone verification was needed, and the listing got an error " something about a violation in auction title"
I tried listing the same item same wording with ebay I got the phone verification, verified it and the item got listed no problem
