Hi everyone, it's been a while since I've been on here. Does anyone know how to remove images on completed listings, that were through auctiva? I see completed listings all the time with the pictures no longer in them.

Thanks

For past listings, one way I remember is that the people have their pictures hosted by a service - then when auction done, they remove the picture from the webhost and the link gets killed

I haven't been able to try dmshark's advice yet, as the listing is still running, but once it ends I would like the images to go bye bye.

Not too sure you can do this ...probably for the buyers protection. I think all pics are deleted after 90 days but def not 100% about that

Here's how:
Sign in to Auctiva, then hover you mouse over images and click manage.
Find your pictures (the ones you want deleted) and check mark them and hit the delete button.
This will remove all the pictures on the template within your eBay listing.

Auctiva allows deletion.
Much quicker that an outside service too.
Takes a bit of fiddling around with that program to know its tricks.
Luckily TGMT² does. |

^^^ Yes.
The gallery picture is hosted by eBay. When you create and post your listing from Auctiva, eBay takes the 1st picture on your listing and uploads it to their site for your gallery picture.
And the pictures within the template are being hosted solely by Auctiva, and that's why you can delete them.
