Auctiva feedback Mess
Hey,
My internet connection right now is shocking, so I will do my best to explain myself.
So, I made a BIG MISTAKE.
I was selling on ebay and I had a customer who decided that he didn't like me very much, so he decided to contact all the customers who bought the item and left positive feedback, and make them see faults with the product.
Very frustrating, but it was fine, because only like 44% of people left feedback, and frankly I moved away from that product because it was more risk than it was worth onto other items, so my feedback cleared up.
However, suddenly this morning I ticked a button on auctiva (deliver feedback automatically when buyer pays) thinking "OH that will be cool as it will mean I deliver feedback, and then when their item arrives in the post quickly they will be keen to post me good feedback".
Thing is, I have some skeletons in my closet, and auctiva decided to deliver feedback to all those skeleton buyers many of which from like 2 months ago, who had long forgotten about me, and now they've got an annoying reminded in their inbox saying 'ebay_seller has delivered you feedback" leaving them to think about whether they still enjoy the product sent.
I feel like a fool for ticking that button on auctiva. But now I want to know how to proceed, do I continue to build positive feedback from my good products i'm doing today and ignore the past. do I try and get the account shut down of the person who is screwing me over (although I believe in karma) or is there someway of being able to hide the feebback I leave as a seller.
Originally I thought this was going to be a diaster, since I accidentally ticked that ubutton 24 hours ago.
but suprisingly for me, all the people from the past don't seem to care less, and all that has happened is that my new buyers are just singing my praises more than ever.
Soooooo.... anyway, I want to cover my back, any solutions?
