Quick Inkfrog question

I've been doing a lot of reading through the forum, but I haven't seen the answer to this question. If I were to set up an Inkfrog account to support all my accounts (while purging my ebay name from the Pics) do I still need to hop on a unique IP for each account everytime I log into Inkfrog (As if I were logging into Ebay)?

Any information would be greatly appreciated! :humble:

The answer is: No you don't have to.
In Inkfrog you have dropdown box and that's how you can switch between accounts. Smart, isn't it?

Only thing that you have to take into account is that in order to connect ebay account into Inkfrog you have to accept api key. This is simply process where Inkfrog redirects you into ebay and you just click accept. So every single accpetation needs to be done by "hop on a unique IP for each account".

Thanks.

Can confirm what Skiba07 said, be careful when setting up accounts initially, it will redirect you to Ebay and you have to be on an unique IP at this moment. No worries later when only using the platform.

Inkfrog is a bit flaky.

Consider other options for better stealth security.

Re: Quick Inkfrog question

I have a question about inkfrog. I understand about setting up part being tricky.. I am not planning on using it to list or picture hosting, but solely to retrieve my orders for shipping. Is there a danger when that feature is used?

As of now, I am checking each stealth account individually and writing labels, then shipping them on a program not connected to any ebays. I don't want any links.

Will Inkfrog cause any issues of linking mulitple stealths if I am just importing orders for shipment? I have never used them before.

My main goal is this: I want a more simplified way of receiving my orders so that there is no accidental mixup ( like I will forget an apt #, or incorrect numbers etc) of the buyers addresses from my many stealth accounts without causing a link between them. It seems like Inkfrog would work for this purpose, but I am not sure. Is there something else that does this job better?

It doesn't need to input the tracking numbers back into into paypal/ebay as I have no problem doing this part.

I had use inkfrog shipping but I didnt like it because media mail wasnt supported and I was too cheap to add a stamps account. It is a life saver when managing 20 accounts, set schedules and auto relist (set it and forget it). I dont know if you manually write the buyer addresses but all buyers shipping info is correct and if you choose to print from inkfrog it is connected to ebay so the tracking updates on ebay.

I like to log in each account to make sure i check messages and print the shippings lables through paypal...thats what i feel comfortable with...I have been using inkfrog for 2 years and its a big help!

That last part... when inkfrog sends the tracking number back to ebay, does it send any information besides tracking? Like if i had 5 stealth accounts -- would inkfrog cause any links between them?

I have a stamps.com account already. I am also trying to figure out shipstation so I can compare.

I really need something software wise that can import my orders for shipping and allow me to print without causing links on multiple stealths.

I have been using inkfrog for listing almost 2-3 now and no linking have occurred.

I have looked into shipstation as well but I prefer my old ways

If you're only looking for shipping then shipstation is the way to go, they dont link accounts.
