Mac Makeup 1.95 for changing your network mac address
 

Ok, not sure if this has been discussed before, but since there has been big debates on whether or not ebay and amazon can see your internal mac address. So if you guys are still paranoid, this is what I have been using about 4 years ago when I needed to change my MAC address: macmakeup 1.95.

I know that this works because I tested it myself. For example, I used to try to maximize those free trial softwares, so whenever I tried to reinstall my whole operating system from a disk image and reinstall that trial software, somehow that software was able to know that it was the same computer! I was like, how did they know!

So, I checked other websites and found out that free trial software actually checks your MAC address, and I tried this piece of freeware, and it worked!

Also, if you were to try to download coupons from those promotion sites, they will try and force you to download some sort of software. Basically that software looks at your MAC address. I used mac makeup, and voilia, I was able to print 2,3,4, as many coupons as I wanted.

So here you go guys, for those who are paranoid about mac addresses.

I also read somewhere on this forum that ip6 is going to be dangerous for stealthers because it will be able to track MAC addresses. So I decided to post this up for all you stealthers, to stay ahead of the game, and hopefully you guys will see something that i will not see, once ip6 is implemented.

I have been using Technitium for a long time as it appears to be one of the most popular and free mac changers out there

You waste your time. Mac address cannot be seem by browsers....

Much easier program called SMac, changes Mac in seconds and can change the numbers/letters yourself, give it a go.

Again this useless piece of technical nonsense. WEBSITES CAN NOT SEE YOUR MAC with default browser settings. You have to manually change A LOT of security settings in order to reveal your MAC to any website. Nowadays Flash, Java, ActiveX and all other possible components are disabled by default, and it is said like 1000 times before, that you should not enable any of them on your stealth machine.

MAC can be exposed though (again, only in certain environments), if you use a IPv6 connection to the website, but AFAIK neither AZ not EB/PP support IPv6.
