That is their free advertising that you give them for them providing you a free posting service.
The only way I have figured out how to remove it is to log into eBay and edit/revise your listing once it is posted.
Here is the step by step:
1 - Log into your eBay account.
2 - Pick a listing you want to remove the Auctiva linkable text and image Logo from
3 - Inside of eBay click on the "Revise Your Item" link/button
4 - Scroll down until you see the HTML code for the listing
5 - Now scroll through the HTML code for your listing until you get down almost at the bottom
6 - Locate this EXACT bit of HTML code: <table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="3"><tr><td align="left"><a href="http://www.auctiva.com?how=imgLnk2" target="_blank"><img src="http://ti2.auctiva.com/web/imghost2.gif" border="0"></a></td><td align="right"><a href="http://www.auctiva.com?how=templLnk1" target="_blank"><img src="http://ti2.auctiva.com/web/tmpl1.gif" border="0"></a></td></tr></table><br><p><center><img src="http://ti2.auctiva.com/web/auctivablue88x33.gif" border="0"><br><a href="http://www.auctiva.com?how=credLnk0" target="_blank"><img src="http://ti2.auctiva.com/web/credLnk2.gif" border="0"></a></center></p>
On my screen it is about 5 inches up from the end of the HTML code in the HTML editor
7 - Delete this bit of code ONLY!
8 - Save your listing.
Now your listing does NOT have the Auctive linkable text and Logo image at the bottom of the ad.
You can ONLY do this procedure if your ad has not gotten any bids OR, for multiple BIN's, before you sell the first item.
If you already have bids or have sold a item in a multiple quantity BIN listing you are not allowed to edit the description. |
