Is there a way to disable links in Gmail

Does anyone know of a way to disable links for inbox emails for Gmail? The only info I've found is how to disable them in outgoing emails. I've accidentally clicked a link twice now trying to copy and paste info out of emails from ebay or paypal.

Not 100% sure but I don't think it's possible, but maybe it is depending on the service. Tried googling it?

Not that I have ever know directly through Google, but you may be able to get a browser extension that does do it for you
